Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was previously a supermodel, is a film director. Apart from her beautiful appearance, her steady success in the highly competitive world of film is testament to her abilities as an actor. She started her career as a model during the 70s, and quickly became one of the most prominent figures in modeling. After studying acting Russo embarked on a career as a model in Los Angeles. Russo's first film role was ABCs 1987 drama Sable, where she appeared as Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest two years later in Major League, her debut movie. The critics, initially unconvinced by her acting skills but eventually redeemed themselves after seeing her consistent work. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was particularly admired by the critics as she stood up to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that acting isn't her passion. In 2005, she went on a self-imposed hiatus. After that, she staged a comeback in Thor. The Oscar-winning movie of her husband Nightcrawler was also one of her performances. Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female athletes. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete, participating in various regional promotion prior to joining Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining the UFC, she has gained a name in the sport due to her success inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas' family is Lithuanian and she was born on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose participated in sports such as basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing to be a teenager. Invicta Fighting Championships is her first fight in professional. She was just 18 and had won two by submission. Rose was also able to make MMA historical with her fight because she became the first woman to compete for a champion title at any major organization. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this fight and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
